This page shows some pictures of the 7¼" (184mm) gauge Millerbeck Light Railway situated in the Leven Valley at the South end of Lake Windermere in the Lake District.
This first group where all taken on a 7¼" Gauge Society play day, 4th & 5th October 2008.

German 0-6-0T-T 'The Baron'

Northern Counties Committee 3' gauge 2-4-2T 'Prince of Wales'
NCC (Northern Counties Committee) No101 "Princess of Wales" is a model of an Irish built 2-4-2T built for the Larne to Balleymena line in Northern Ireland. The model was built in 1980.

Old Smokie tries to hide its driver
"Old Smokie" is a model of one of the larger Fletcher Jennings locomotive, the angled chimney extension is meant to keep the smoke and steam out of the drivers face.

A model of Ex-Royal Arsenal Raiway diesel 'Albert'
Another Electrical Powered loco is this model of Royal Arsenal Railway's first diesel locomotive, the original was built by Hunslet Engine Co. Ltd of Leeds, their 'Artic' Class in 1934, Albert is one of the resident locomotives at Millerbeck.

Late in the day the railway owner, Arnold, finally got to play with his own railway
